Shuffling money about is not economic policy,agreed...
the coalition should have cut much more brutally into the welfare state;and by that I mean welfare for EVERYONE!!!
Industry,the poor,the middle-classes,the rich,charities,NGOs and what-not...far too many people rely on hand-outs here and in Europe,and I don't know why?
I wish we would let people take responsibility for their own poor behaviour,let them work their way out of whatever situation they're in.

but that's too Libertarian for most people,I guess...
