I admit to not really believing the hype and thought much of it was exaggeration. Well, I was wrong! The Sammy is just streets ahead of the SA, I am really impressed!
Anyway, to the point, I am on the VIP 50 package and have a second box in another room which is an old (it has NTL on the front!) Samsung ordinary box. When VM eventually get around to letting us have Tivo, would I be able to put that where my V+ is now, put the V+ where the old box is now and lose that box? After all I had to pay the install fee for the V+, so would like to think I will be able to keep it.
If I am able to do this, is it likely to be a higher monthly fee than just having a Tivo and a V box?
Yes you can do that, or you can call up and get a V HD box right now to replace the Samsung for a one off delivery fee with no activation charge as you are on VIP
