Hi Marg, the ssid is just the name your router broadcast's to the outside world, so when you do a scan for wireless networks in the area you know which one is yours.

I'm afraid you still need to reset your router in order to sort out your problems, don't be afraid of having a go, its easier than you might think.

What part of Masque's original advice don't you understand or are unsure of
