Re: Can not connect "Verifying Internet connection" - I have tried everything!

try going to "manage wireless network" and delete the wireless profile(s) reboot laptop and try reconnecting. Do not disable IPv6 as this tends to break any HomeGroup shares in windows 7.

If this doesn't work try temporary disabling the firewall and reconnect again (remember to turn it back on after)
