Oh yes I really cannot get bummed about a bit of cat poo that can be dug into the garden as a bit of compost. There are worse behaviours from one's neighbours to contend with.

Actually, I'm a very laid back person

The main annoyance where I live at present is the fact that my neighbours have 3 dogs that go on a barking frenzy at random moments during the day or night. I do not enjoy being woken up by 3 barking dogs next door.

These dogs will also on occasion find a way through the fence/hedge and crap on my lawn until my neighbour plugs the hole in the fence. I'm fine with this. The neighbours pick up any poo they spot in my garden, and fix any holes in the fence/hedge as they develop. A slight annoyance, but no problem.

The neighbours on the other side have cats. For some reason, they don't seem to use my garden as a toilet. I guess I'm lucky this time around.

In the past however, I've had the discomfort of living in a house that had a garden that seemed to function as a communal toilet for several neighbourhood cats. I couldn't have a meal in the garden because of the flies that were attracted to the copious amounts of cat dung dropped in it. It was no fun at all, and really made me wonder why it is somehow considered acceptable to allow your pet cat to crap wherever it likes when people get fined for not picking up after their dog. It really doesn't make much sense to me.
