That was the original plan but everyone else now says the Primary email address will not change and that includes Dan Bayliss who posts on here in his own name who is the the guy in charge of the Migration, I have asked him this specific question and the above that I have posted is from him in this thread post number 10.

This according to the same thread is no longer active, you can delete an existing secondary alias and immediately name a new alias rob1@virginmedia.com.
