The way around this is to use the scart connection that says video on your box... and not the one that says tv... then go down to some where like maplins and buy a scart to rf modulator (selecting a frequency on it with the dip switches around 55 to 69, will explain in leaflet when buy it) this with give you a rf signal when also using your hdmi outlet... what you will find is this modulator allows you to plug in your main areil to so you can transmit tv to those tvs and also the virgin you wanted....
note it wont be the same quality as your hdmi though...

Thanks Mark, absolutely spot on! Bought a programmable RF modulator from Maplins. It had possibly the most inane, useless set of instructions known to man, but I used my common sense and intuition and installed it OK. Now I can have my HD on the main set and still have a standard feed to the other two TV sets in the house as well that includes the aerial feed plus whatever is on the V+ box. Happy bunny!
