That sounds like an excellent idea, definitely go with it...

My happy thought, just come back from the Lakes after a fantastic Xmas weekend break. Never seen so many frozen over; Bassenthwaite Lake, Thirlmere, Grasmere, Rydal Water.

In fact the only one we drove past which wasn't was Coniston.
