Instead I'll just admit that the van, which we have already demonstrated had a valid number plate, was being driven, and is of a similar age to other vans used by the Met in London didn't have a valid tax disc but instead they decided to put a small red sticker, almost exactly the same size as a tax disc, in the same place a tax disc is stuck and no-one has picked up that it wasn't actually a RFL.
Well when they are PERSONAL ISSUE (i.e. each cop has their own, with their own ID on it) then yes it would be too much trouble to leave it in a van.
