I feel a bit liberated as I'm dealing with my problems. I had to withdraw everything in my account and opened a new one with a different bank and put it all in there before my credit score is completely fubar-ed. Then I contacted all my 'essentials' and re-directed all my direct debits to the new account. The mortgage will get paid, along with associated costs and my car.

I slept for the first time in weeks last night. I know its just the start of dealing with problems I've created myself, but i've done it
On the CAB website, it states you should keep in touch with your creditors and I'm just not up to facing them at the moment and my appt with CAB isn't until 4th January. Do you think its a good idea to send them a letter explaining I'm suffering financial hardship and I have a meeting with CAB to discuss payment options? I suppose it might bide me some time...
