1. MPEG 1 format at a resolution of 320x240 or 640x480
2. MP4 (AVC/H.264) at a resolution of 640X480 at 30fps 3Mbps .mp4
3. DivX (DivX Home Theater 3.0 (720X576)) file extension .avi

Seems these are the video formats you can play. Take note of the resolutions limit. Also be aware that usb sticks have to fat32 so have a 4GB limit on file size.

Mpeg1 is pretty much a dead format these days. MP4/AVC is relatively rare. It is usually encountered wrapped in an mkv container which you apparently cannot play.

You can probably convert incompatable MPEG4 (AVI) to a compatable format using AviRecomp.

WinFF converts most formats to compatable avi
