Does it? Well coming from you it doesn't surprise me one jot frankly - you have 'previous' when it comes to a rather jaundiced view of the Police after all. Just just to clarify it for you, however, I'm well aware that certain elements of the police can and do act very badly at times. Unlike some people, however, I am not prepared to tar them all with that particular brush from the outset, before the facts are known and don't see cover-ups, conspiracies and falsifications from within their ranks everywhere I look. Given the considerable provocation they face and the constraints they work under I think the Police have a very difficult job to do, by and large do it very well and deserve our thanks for having the guts to put themselves in the firing line.
