I was told months ago that BBC ALBA did have an launch date but Virgin postphone it.

But who pays the BBC £145 every year?

Are they on Satellite?

BBC ALBA is available on digital satellite. It will be available on digital cable in due course.

Freeview carriage is subject to review by the BBC Trust in 2010.

Some BBC ALBA programmes can also be seen on BBC TWO Scotland.

Programmes will be broadcast daily from 1700 – 2330 with audio from Radio nan GÃ*idheal when the station is off-air along with text and graphics from the BBC ALBA website.

BBC ALBA programmes will be subtitled in English, excluding those for children.
