Re: Windows 7 wont boot

Ok heres the latest.

I put in the windows 7 DVD and i tried to restore further but it wouldnt let me, all other attempts failed, ie; the repair function.

in the end i just reinstalled windows 7 on the main drive that already has windows 7 installed, an it worked, however i now have a Windows.old folder which was my previous windows installation.

i dont have AVG though, so i dont understand why this has happened.
