Re: Scottish refs vote to strike

I fully support the referees for going on strike, I am a referee on Sunday, and yet l haven't done a game in months, simply due to the aggro you get from players, which is uncalled and l only get paid £30 per game.

I am certain that pro refs get a great deal more, there is a major problem in all football matches, what happened in Scotland is a disgrace, l saw this game and the ref was put under so much pressure from the Celtic players, and it didn't help when Lennon started slagging off the fourth official, clubs have to remember, without the refs, no one would get a game.

The SFA is a disgrace for bringing in scab refs, they should have taught the big babies, ie Celtic and Rangers, a lesson in respect to the officials and heavily fine them.

The SFA should hold the head in shame, that this aggro continues, remember its the League that controls football NOT the clubs.
