New monitor

There is lots of info on the web but much is very out of date or not exactly relevant.

I currently have a 19" CRT monitor (1600x1200) and am looking to replace it with a LCD (the CRT will go to my son for his thin client I'm setting up).

Looking for a LCD monitor that will be at least as good as the LCD without costing a huge amount.

1)Want 1200 vertical (16:10 if wide screen).
2)Good colour for photography.
3)Good display for text (ideally rotate but not essential).
4)Good for watching movies.
5)Good for playing games.
6)Good wide angles of view

Or do I have to try and find someone still selling CRT monitors.

Possibly looking at the Dell U2410 but it is a tad expensive.
