The 200Mb, as you say, is on a completely different circuit from the head end to avoid interference with the 50Mb service. The 50Mb service is the same as everybody else.
Evidently it isn't. If it were you'd be seeing the effects of the shaping.

It applies to all tiers, 50M included, the shaping has no idea what tier of service customers are on. I am unsure why you are apparently not affected. Maybe a Coventry special due to you being on a trial node.
