Perhaps if there weren't so many people avaliable to do jobs for minimum wage the wages would increase to living wage level, my friend lives abroad half the year and works hard here the rest of the year, ten years ago most factory/agency work he did paid £6 an hourish now it's all minimum wage, that's a moot point anyway considering our coalition governments desire to get people in any avaliable work.
