The principles of "employment" are the same whether it was 35 or 35,000 years ago. A nation relying on outside labour at the expense of its own citizens will cause nothing but poverty in it's citizens. Examine any nation in what ever time period you like, and you'll find that to be true.
I did the same thing and that's how I found the Mark Antony solution. Don't get me wrong, there may be short term benefits for a handful of people as there have been, but the vast majority of citizens who're denied jobs will deteriorate rapidly, and its unnessecary.
