What a shame - Pontins in administration

It is a great shame that holiday park Pontins has gone into administration, but it doesn't surprise me at all.

Holiday parks used to be full to capacity each season, but then they started to become very expensive, and Butlins started it all, l used to go to holiday camps each year, but they priced themself out of the market.

I went to Barry Island year after year until it closed, then l went to Pontins at Camber Sands, and it was terrible, the chalets were in poor condition, and the price was very high, then went to another park, and that was more expensive again, I decided to go in May, and it was £600 for the week, and that was poor too.

I think what Parks have to is go back to ther days when it used to be the 'workers' holiday sites, in this day and age when families have to count the pennies, holiday sites will suffer, but if they reduced the prices it could help, especially when they make there money on the booze they sell each night - l hope Pontins survive.
