I'm looking for advice in choosing a wireless router.
I have a Virgin cable set-up with an old NTL100 modem.

I currently have a Dlink DI-624 w/less router, which works fine
for ordinary internet browsing.

But, when I download using P2P software, bitcomet, vuze, etc, the router
"hangs" after about an hour and downloading stops . I then have to reboot both modem & router to resetablish a connection again. This seems a common problem with this model router when using P2P clients.

Tuning down the download rate seems to help, but at a rate of less
than 95 kbs, this is undesireable.

Has anyone got knowledge of a combination that works at full speed ?
have you set the P2P clients to port forwarding.
Routers don't have 'bittorrent' settings to turn on/off. Forward ports 6881-6999 for bittorrent and for other p2p 6346.
