So sad.

Takes me way back when, in two successive jobs, I spent time commissioning equipment on the Ark Royal. Even got my wife and kids a personal "grand tour" of the ship. I'll never forget my eight-year-old daughter pretending to push me off the top of the take-off ramp.

And the Harriers... At Farnborough, watching several in a row rise into the air, hover and bow, then turn and roar away, just in front of us. Awe inspiring.
