Aye they are lovely bits of kit

I picked a 555 up cheap earlier in the year (then a pair of 525's for other rooms), and it controls the TV, my DVD + blu ray players and amp/decoder (both with separate settings for if i'm watching something in surround or just stereo), the cable box etc

I think the only changes to the default profiles it created for each device combo was to add the "prev" button on the remote to match the "back" button on the cable remote, and to replace the function of the "channel up/down" buttons from chapter skips to secondary volume controls when playing DVD's and Blu-rays (I kept skipping chapters by mistake).

Probably the best remotes I've ever used, and they save so much room on my desk (it was getting silly with 4-5 remotes being used on a daily basis in my PC room).

The only downside is they eat batteries, so I've invested in some enerloop rechargeables that last 2-3 months between charges
