I do actually have a bread maker... but have not used the bake function on it for over 3 years.. Tend to use it purely for knead and first rise and then use a proper tray to shape the bread and bake it to how we fancy it.. (either realy crusty by use of a bit of steam) or a light crust (my favourite is where you do the crust dry on a high heat so it goes black but then softens to a leathery texture as the bread cools due to the internal moisture)
