I always think femtocells are a little bit of a con. You are paying the mobile phone company so you can use bandwidth you are providing to them for free.

I am sure they could be handy, but when I am near enough my house I could use a femtocell, I am near enough I can use my home phone for a lot less. Even if it's just for data, my phone hooks up to my WiFi network for faster data transfer and I don't pay extra for it.

TBH, I don't want other random mobile users leeching my broadband connection.
