I stand by what I am saying on moving to Sky though. One minute you are sorry for people who can't afford XL, then you suggest they might take out Sky which is £19 minimum. If they wanted a wider choice of popular sd channels they would have to pay more than that, in which case they would be better getting xl. They would then have tv choice back, and ESPN and some HD channels.
I wonder how much on demand they would get for £19 anyway. It being tied to a package isn't necessarily a good thing as the stuff they would get is probably on their linear channels anyway. They would also lose catch up on the four main channels.
Anyway we are off topic here. I wonder if the mods can move these posts to the correct thread where this is already under discussion.

£20 (2 packs) would cover all of Sky's entertainment and lifestyle channels but more importantly the attached on demand content plus a lot more FTA content like CBS. Anyway I agree we are off topic and I doubt we will ever agree which is fine, it's just my opinion and it will not change. For the lower tier packages I think Sky offers far more than VM which I guess is what I am saying.
