There are three ways to restrain someone.
- Put them down hard using strikes to potentially dangerous areas or use tasers/guns
- Spend huge amounts of time and money training every single officer to exceptionally high standards in martial arts
- Use multiple officers to restrain the person using the minimal amount of force needed to subdue the subject without injuring them
