On a good note, the Runcorn/Widnes gateway project is very much needed and has been put off for many years. I have spent lots of hours sat in jams trying to get into my office.
On paper a welcome shot in the arm for the local economy but if they set unreasonable tolls on both bridges then loads of people will take an extra 15 minute hit to do the 62/Thelwall/56 route. I wonder how many people who work opposite sides of the bridge would actually shell out the wedge for a season ticket seeing as it's currently free.
