Are you going to be using the gigabit functions of the new router if not maybe a hub would have been simpler. As DaiNasty says you could run into some real problem by chaining them together but worth while if you can get them to coexist happily.
I tried it once with a Cat, Dog and 2 Large Iguana's it ended badly. I now have goldfish
