The main problem with having two routers chained like this is that both devices have a DHCP server running to hand out IP addresses. This will probably not work reliably, if at all.

The answer is to disable DHCP in the new router so that it simply becomes a switch. Allow IP address control to reside in the sky router and use the new device simply to enable extra connections.
