I do not find this nessarily true having just flicked through on demand its got two series of south park hardly rubbish when first aired,planet rock profies, clash of the dinosaurs,cold case sries 6,inbetweeners series 1 to name but a few out of lots of pages.
When there is nothing on the main channels i can always find something worth watching on tv choice on demand,i think for me at least tv on demand is great.
Cannot see what you mean by "in honesty you could play the parts" the throuble is i do not play the parts! but like watching the shows!
