JK: I've looked up the manual for your DVDR and it definitely looks like it should be able to do the job. You should have the V+ connected to the EXT2 socket on the DVDR, and select EXT2 as the recording source. Is that what you are doing?

Viv: I suspect you have much the same problem. What make & model recorder do you have?
