Re: Coordinated Strikes - Illegal or not?

As I understand it, the workers have to have a legitimate dispute against their own employer. Since the matters at issue are similar throughout the public sector (pensions, cuts, pay etc.), it may be possible for unions to undertake co-ordinated action across the sector but each dispute must be genuine and technically separate - sympathy strikes are out.
