I can appreciate it's a pain for those who were brought up on imperial measures, but the fact is, they have been teaching exclusively metric for a long time now. In fact, nobody under 40 in the UK is likely ever to have been taught imperial measures at school.

as to this sovereignty law its just a bit of window dressing to keep those who think we should be out of europe quiet though it seems to be failing ( some one else can find the quote lol ) as even the Daily Mail ( it was the only paper at the wacky wearhouse ) was moaning that this may in fact even make it easier for europe to impose laws ( not that i agree with the idea that it does ) but it definately wont do what those who want out want
