Youngsters always will want to be different from the older generation, its only when you are older you realize how dopey you must have come across as a teenager, a right of passage most of us have been through no doubt.
As regards inane speech one of the worst has to be somebody repeating over and over after every few words..."You know what I'm saying right", what a completely pointless thing to keep saying, unless of course you are addressing an amoeba.

What was it Rowan Atkinson's Inspector Fowler once said, "sometimes I wish I could go live on radio four", the older I get the more attractive this sounds.
