I think it is more versatile having separate storage & media player, as when one external drive gets full, you just use another - and it is easy for other people to bring their own media for showing on the telly, just on a stick or portable drive. |

can the fan be heard if the tv or other source of noise is switched off? i.e. is it reasonably quiet?
