Agreed, this storyline could appear in any of the British soaps, to make it more juicy I'd expect nothing less than the siblings parents to be son and grand-mother, and that prior to arriving in Albert Square, The Street or wherever they led a suburban life in the Andromeda galaxy.
Within a few weeks the Mail would no doubt write a detrimental story explaining how "Andromedans" were flooding our borders, jumping the housing list and having cosmetic surgery to appear more human all on the NHS.
