I remember Southern raising this a couple of years ago for the Brighton to Victoria line, the most profitable line in the country, but then it was shelved with the company saying they wouldn't introduce "toilet-less" trains on routes of over 45 minuets...obviously Southern are not to worried about upsetting train users between B'ton and Pompey.
