First thing you`d need to get (if you haven`t allready) is a router. The Modem only gives you 1 IP address so if you wanted to use more than one device you need a router to assign each pc/device it`s own private IP address.
You could put the router next to the modem and take a cable (RJ45 to RJ45) out of one of the LAN ports, plug it into the adapter and do the same at the other end plugged into the other computer.
