Just because you haven't seen any dead cats doesn't mean they aren't there, if you drive around town early in the morning you might see plenty as I do, I'd say that either their owners take them in or foxes carry them of and I am sure your cat is a delight to
all your neighbours, especially the ones that tend their gardens of have young children playing in them.
