Just spend half a day at a computer clinic shop and my problem was that I had deleted Windows defender but for some reason it was still on in the background and also my setting were all over the place and not a virus in sight. So have it all sorted now and Kymmy the AV you gave me is working a treat. So thanks so much for everything.
Dont know why the settings went the way they did as I wouldn't even know where to begin to change them. I think my laptop has got a mind of It's own at this stage
