Come off it Arthur, Pat Jennings when to Arsenal and always has been and always will be a legend. He even went back to the club afterwards.

The problem with Campbell was we made him the player he became and then denied us the £20m+ he was worth. The fact he deliberately put off signing a contract but saying he wasn't going to leave and then signed for Arsenal for free was the problem. If he was honest about leaving and we got a fair price then there wouldn't have been a problem. But then they money-grabbing so-and-so wouldn't have got his big signing-on bonus.

Back to Gallas though I don't know of anyone who has a problem with him being ex-Arsenal or ex-Chelsea. That's a media invention to show Spurs up to be stupidly fickle. The only ones I know do know don't want Gallas is because like Bellamy he's a toxic personality. And they've got a point, he is. But if he a can do a job for us (and he probably can) then he's welcome.

Also worth noting there was a similar reaction when we bough Woodgate after his previous nocternal indescretions but kept his head down, played well and is now a fan favourite. I think Redknapp has a point - a team of gentlemen won't win anything. Maybe you need a couple of *******s.
