NHS nurses are my happy thought. In the last year Ive had...

tilt table test
echo-cardiogram
x-rays
MRI scan
so many blood tests Ive lost count
24hr ecg's/blood pressure
a weeks stay in hospital

and the only positive thing for me has been the nurses. Yes theres the uniforms which does help but in all my visits Ive always been impressed with the nurses. Even the nowty one who didnt like me vanishing from the ward for a fag. Always have a laugh with them, shame the doctors are too up their own arses to actually listen to what you have to say. Why do they ask you a question but then but in with their version of the answer?!

Big up to the nurses out there especially Andrea at Preston Hospitals MRI unit After the year I've had I can understand people complaining about how nurses are paid/treated
