Re: NTL box cabling questions

The connection from the STB to a TV should just be a standard RF aerial lead with standard TV connectors. Of course a scart lead will provide a much better picture if the TV is compatible.

The crimp on "F" plug may work for the lead from the street (wall) cable into the STB. But, you must be careful to make that connection properly to avoid the cable connection being "shorted" and to ensure a good electrical joint. If you don't get it right your picture quality will be poor.
