Hi and Evening.

So bloomin angry after what appears to be a botched install of VM TV this weekend. We have had 50mb Internet in Manchester that has run flawlessly for the past four months. With the advent of HD channels coming to VM and TiVO later in the year we thought we would switch from Sky HD to Virgin Media.

Engineer comes around yesterday afternoon and takes the cable going into the modem and then says it is adequate to serve the Modem, and the two new STB's via a 3 way splitter.

As soon as he leaves, the Internet runs awful for 10 minutes then it just stops syncing. Picture and Sound quality on the HD Channels is shoddy to say the least. Constantly breaking up and the sound popping. So numerous calls to the VM support team result in naff all.

I have since plugged the cable direct into the modem and once again it is running flawlessly. Old Sky HD box now reinstalled so we can watch TV
