I received an email from Diane this morning offering the discount but conditional on agreeing a new 12 month contract. I emailed back to query the requirement to sign a 12 month contract for a 6 month discount but got an out of office reply stating she is out of the office until next Monday.
Just spoke to a lovely lady called June. She said that 12 month contract is required and that I would be pleased with outcome of VIP review. So I went for it
