I have recently replaced Sky with a Virgin Media 50Mb VIP package which I am pleased with save for one problem.
We connect the V+ Box to a Bose Home System 48 through the optical cable.
Whenever we pause the TV, and then rewind (other similar actions also bring this about), the Bose unit switched off and the audio is lost.
Going back into the Bose box and resetting the optical to CBL/SAT brings everything back, until the next time.
I did not, and still do not, have this problem if I connect the Sky box back again, so I believe the problem to lie with the V+ Box.
Has any one experienced anything similar?
