I suggest that anyone else getting the "IOH Over Temperature" warning do what I did and just replace the TIM on the bottom of the heatsink/heatpipe assembly which is a simple job to do and avoids having to send the board back and then wait around indefinitely for a replacement which might not actually be any better.
