I am not sure how to get Modem stats, attached is a log taken from the router which connects to the modem as a separate device.

Yes the time is a factor - busy times I have seen it <1mb and even at 4-4.30 AM (I am early riser) its still low.

Sometime it has a bout of dropping the wireless connection but re-establishes OK after just a few seconds.

I am using a new Netgear "N" router supplied new a few weeks ago. My actual usage is to my wifes laptop via Wireless network in the same room as the router, my PC uses a Netgear USB WiFi connection which is 2 rooms away in our bungalow - the PC has a "Very Low Strength" I have tried changing channels but loose it all if I do, its on AUTO normally.

Does everyone have this problem?
