I was not aware Virgin was subject to the copout used by SkyBT about being near an exchange - VM promotes 10mb, 20mb and 50mb, someone about 3 streets away is getting 40mb so I assume is on a 50mb rate.

I doubt if I would benefit from PAYING for 50mb is they can ONLY deliver <10mb

In truth all ISPS should advertise "up to 10mb for a select few"
